Inbound Visitor

You may not call New Zealand home, just yet, but if you intend to experience the many wonders this breathtakingly beautiful, diverse and culturally wealthy country has to offer, we bet it won't be long before you want to move your whole life here - lock, stock and barrel.

One step at a time though. First, let's deal with this trip to New Zealand to explore the place they call heaven on earth.

No matter what the nationality your passports states, the chances are things in New Zealand will be a little different from your home and you should be prepared; you can expect some pleasant surprises, a few weird and wonderful, even quaint places and people, a NZ English dialect unique to these islands, not to mention the famous Maori tongue and possibly the odd culture shock or two.

As with all strange new places, in it lies a challenging balance that needs to be masterminded, a sort of juggling act between fun, awe & excitement played off against a need to staying safe, have peace of mind in all you do and above all to remember the unexpected does not take a holiday. Being prepared is the key to enjoying every minute you spend gasping in wonderment at all New Zealand has to offer - if you are going to visit the snow fields, you need to be wrapped up warm, if you are going for a dip in the hot pools around Lake Taupo or even in Lake Taupo itself, you need to remember your towel; of course bungee jumping, jet boating, white water rafting or sky diving all these activities suggest you should keep a good supply of clean under-wear close to hand or if you are going trout fly fishing you need to take your waders...

But no matter what the activity, the people you are with, the places you stay and the food or drink you eat, you should always, always, always be sure you have adequate travel insurance to cover any eventuality. If the worst happens and you need a medical evacuation from a mountain hiking trail, or a doctor to clear the fish bones from your throat or an emergency set of clothes and toiletries as your suitcase decided to holiday in New Caledonia instead.

Fortunately, we are able to offer products and packages to cover most eventualities and because we know New Zealand so well there is no one better at watching your back and taking care of things while you are a guest in our country. We love having you to stay but we want you to get home - safely!
